Alex Tinsley's collection of post-apocalyptic knitting patterns was a true joy to design. The photo shoot she directed inspired the book design: a kind of Beyond Thunder Road hellscape with mud splatters and crude typefaces—while still keeping the layout clean enough that the knitting instructions and charts were entirely clear.
