Wayne Maynard, a board member with nonprofit Angel Flight South Central, wanted to publicize his adventurous fundraiser: a solo, small aircraft flight to the North Pole.
I developed a branding system that included two alternate logos (pictured above and below) and decals for his plane (shown in news story below).
I also wrote a one-pager for Wayne (below) that brought the mission to life and helped him obtain news coverage from two print publications and one TV station.
Ultimately he raised $80,000—more than four times the funds he raised on his previous flight—to benefit Angel Flight South Central, which provides free flights for patients needing to travel for cancer treatment or surgery.
