The Big Cities Health Coalition (BCHC) collaborated with partner organization Prevention Institute (PI) on a 20-page report urging governmental public health departments to renew the commitment to anti-racism that so many declared in 2020 after George Floyd's murder.
In designing the report, I was charged with conveying the urgency of the need for anti-racist work from health departments. I also needed to reference and blend the branding of both BCHC and PI.
Both nonprofits and the health departments BCHC represents have an unapologetic commitment to anti-racism, so we selected photography from anti-racist movements.
I created a clear information hierarchy for the text using color, text style, and graphic elements.
